As a responsible member of the global community, Planate Management Group South East Asia Corporation (PMGSEAC) recognizes its social obligation to promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education among young people by providing financial support, in-kind services, and volunteer aid. Aligned with our corporate mission, we are dedicated to actively engaging in the progress and empowerment of communities, with a specific focus on STEM initiatives.
On April 26, 2024, PMGSEAC proudly sponsored the 6th Olongapo City Robotics Cup held at the SMX Olongapo, SM Central in collaboration with iStream Corporation. This annual event, the Olongapo City Robotics Cup, saw a remarkable turnout of more than 300 participants and 68 teams from various schools, all gathering at the SMX Convention Center, SM Olongapo Central. The occasion was graced by distinguished personalities, including Dr. Julius Ceasar V. Sicat, CESO III, the Regional Director of DOST, Councilor Cristabelle "Tata" Paulino, and Dr. Imelda P. Macaspac, the School Divisions Superintendent of Olongapo.
Among the highlights of the event, PMGSEACs own Abel Inocencio served as one of the judges, while Kendrick Ursua delivered an inspiring speech to the children, sharing his journey of becoming a Robotics Engineer.
