This year's Philippines Business Mission is centered around the theme of “Forging Sustainable and Transformational Partnerships for Economic Growth.” The mission aims to spotlight American enterprises and facilitate interaction between mission attendees, Philippine governmental authorities, and industry captains. The discussions during the mission will focus on several pivotal subjects, including sustainable progress, revolutionary digitalization, cooperative ventures in pioneering healthcare solutions, elevated manufacturing techniques, streamlined supply chains, and improved business environment.

On August 9, 2023, Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. engaged with representatives from the U.S.-ASEAN Business Council, extending them a courteous reception. Planate president Chris Decker actively participated in this prestigious two-day event. Chris enjoyed the privilege of a personal encounter with President Bongbong Marcos and exchanged viewpoints with U.S. Ambassador Carlson.

The US-ASEAN Business Council Inc., a non-profit organization, diligently conducts comprehensive analysis of economic, environmental, financial, political, and societal factors across the ten ASEAN nations. This organization ardently supports the interests of more than 175 member corporations, offering advocacy, visionary leadership, research, education, insight, and the cultivation of vital business connections. The Council holds the unique distinction of being the sole American entity officially recognized in the ASEAN Charter, and it convenes annually with the finance, trade, and energy ministers during their customary gatherings.
